Garden Memories
The plants of our gardens have meaning. Perhaps this is your favourite flower, or that is planted over a beloved pet, or this scent always makes you think of a loved one, or that colour takes you back to a special time. Some are chosen carefully for a particular reason, some on a whim, and some find their way to you themselves. All carry a message, even if only you know what it is.
Autumn Falls
“I cling to you in both sunshine and shade.”
The beginning of this journey, I watch the creeper of the house over the road turn plum-red every Autumn.
Winter Green
Endurance and Fidelity
Ivy twines around posts and trees, up walls and across the ground. It holds fast.
Golden Silver
Lady of the Woods
My favourite tree, at its best when its silvery trunk is cast with sunlight, and golden leaves shimmer in the breeze.
A Splash of Red
Imagination and Oblivion
Bright poppies dance, flashes of colour in a garden waking up from winter dreams.
The Most Beautiful Face
Warmth and Strength
Cheerful sunflowers grow tall and strong, but the cycle of life will reach them too.
